Reconstruction Era

The reconstruction era was after the civil war was won by the north.

the reconstruction was started by Abraham Lincon and went on through two other

presidents. reconstruction was a big mess. first the president that came after Abraham Lincon, Andrew Johnson began to assign governors to the southern states which then led to the black codes. then when the president started to pull the union troops from the south causing the laws that were passed not to be followed. today this is very relevant because of how in the south there is still much hate toward the other people who are not white or christian.
