The Vision of a River Park
The guiding vision for the River Park is presented in the San Diego River Park Conceptual Plan which was developed through a series of community meetings by The San Diego River Park Foundation. The plan was completed during the summer of 2002
This organization is connected to the state government because of how it connects with community engagement.
The River Park will be a great feature of our beautiful region. When completed we will be able to walk or ride a bike from OB to Julian. How cool! Aside from creating the park the Foundation and volunteers have removed over 1,000,000lbs of trash from the river and work to make it clean and healthy.
